Dear
Friends,
Water Missions International is preparing up to 36 water purification systems to
aid survivors of the deadly cyclone that devastated Myanmar on Saturday, May 3.
The latest reports claim that more than 22,000 lives have been lost and another
41,000 people are still missing. Hundreds of thousands of people are now
homeless and in desperate need of shelter, food and most of all, clean drinking
water. This is the worst disaster to strike Southeast Asia since the Tsunami of
2004, and your help is needed today.
Your gift will enable us to provide access to clean drinking water and the
"Living Water" to the people of Myanmar. Please act now. Visit
www.watermissions.org to donate.
"To thwart off the spread of disease and death among these disaster victims, it
is vital that clean drinking water is provided as soon as possible. To save
lives, Water Missions International must act quickly with sustainable safe water
systems, and to do so, we need immediate funding," explains WMI's VP of
Development, Danya Jordan.
The need is tremendous. Please respond today at
www.watermissions.org with your heartfelt prayers and support. Thank you and
God bless you.
Blessings,
Lindsay M. Wine, WMI Communications Specialist
